Proven Results At Other Schools . . .
"Buddy videos have been a refreshingly positive influence on our school
population. Our students embraced the Buddy, Duddy and Bully Videos
with tremendous enthusiasm. They formed a Buddy Club, which met
weekly after school to reinforce the skills they acquired and shared how
they encouraged their peers to be Buddys. The impact on the
children's ability to identify bullying behaviors and take corrective
steps is impressive."
Angela Forrest - Guidance Counselor - Park Ridge Elementary - Deerfield

"During our Stop Bullying - Be A
Buddy Week we had a lot of students telling other students to be "Buddys"
when they witnessed bullying activities. We also had kids rewarding
other kids with stars if they saw "Buddy" behaviors, and they really got
into that."
Tracy Schmidt -
School Social Worker - Lincoln Elementary - Escondido, CA
"I questioned my students this past
week on what they had learned from Buddy. Several
mentioned they had used the “Buddy to the rescue move” when some kids were
pushing others in line. Other students said they had learned to do
the “avoid the Bully move” when kids were teasing them. The best one
was….. one of my third grade students said that when riding on his bus a
fourth grade student was bullying a second grader, so he did the “Buddy to
the rescue” move by going and sitting with the child."

Counselor – Hawks Rise Elementary – Tallahassee, FL
"Our
"Be a Buddy Week" was a great success! We wrote compliments on
strips of construction paper throughout the week and then "Linked up with
Buddies" on the last day. One day was reading buddies day where
upper grade students worked with their lower grade "reading buddy"
classes. During this time students wrote about how to be a buddy and what
it means to be a buddy. The school really ran with the idea and the
students seem to have responded beyond my greatest of expectations.”
Duane Thompson – Guidance Counselor – Wesley Chapel Elementary –
Monroe, NC
"We watch Buddy, Duddy, and Bully each
Friday morning. We’re still in the segments about bullies taking things
or destroying property. We finished video clip #9 this morning. The kids
have memorized the parts that remain the same, and you can hear them
throughout the building repeating them along with you on the clip.
The
teachers tell me that they refer to Buddy, Duddy, and Bully
when they are
trying to make a point or correcting
inappropriate behavior."
Carolyn Porter - Principal - Carl Junction Primary 2-3 School - Carl
Junction, MO
"We
have really been working on Buddy to the Rescue, and, just today had a
student tell me about a student being mean during their lunch time and
another student said, "That was mean to say,___, ____ come sit with me."
